St. Lucie 3, Dunedin 2

Jeff Barry lined a shot off the leftfield fence with two outs and the bases loaded in the ninth inning Tuesday to give the Mets a victory over the visiting Blue Jays. Trailing 2-0 after seven innings, St. Lucie scored a run in the eighth and two in the ninth. Barry's hit scored Ed Fully to break a 2-2 tie. Fully's bloop single off Ben Weber (3-3) tied the score. Rick Steed allowed three hits in seven innings. Rich Butler hit run-scoring singles in the second and seventh innings for the Jays. Jim McCreedy (2-3) the winner.
