WAC Chapter 79: installation

The Florida Sunshine Chapter 79, Women's Army Corps Veterans Association, will install new officers Saturday at a luncheon at the Sheraton Inn, U.S. 19, New Port Richey.

Cocktails will be served at 11:30 a.m. followed by the luncheon at noon. Musical entertainment is planned.

Cost is $11. Reservations may be made by calling (813) 376-2357.

Ruth Helbig will serve as president for 1993-94. She will be assisted by Helen R. Green, first vice president; Eileen Crudgington, second vice president; Maxine Woodruff, recording secretary; Isabelle Bellis, corresponding secretary; Susan Norris, treasurer; Marguerite Espelin, chaplain; and Juanita Van Deilen, sergeant-at-arms.

A business meeting is scheduled before the installation, at 10 a.m. at the New Port Richey Library, Main Street, New Port Richey.

Polonian Lions Club:


Lions District Gov. George Sultan will be the installing officer at 1:30 p.m. Friday when new officers of the Polonian Lions Club of Holiday are installed at the Polish American Club, Darlington Road, Holiday.
