$2 bingo game in the cards for Florida lottery

What do you call a $2 lottery game that takes 10 minutes to play?

Bingo.

Lottery Secretary Marcia Mann plans to start the game in September.

Florida officials have not decided on the odds for the game or the prizes, but they do know how it will work.

The ticket will probably be about three times the size of instant scratch-off tickets.

On the left side will be a "caller's square," where players will scratch off 25 letter and number combinations.

Players then can check to see which combinations they have matched on four player's squares on the right side of the ticket.

Players would get prizes for such things as matching a row of five or the four corners of one square. The prizes in other states' bingo games range from $2 to $10,000 per ticket, and about one of every four tickets is a winner.
