Six Largo High School students hope to leave July 12 for eight days in Tosayamada, Japan, Largo's "sister city." While they are there, the Largo youngsters will stay in private homes with families of students who attend Yamada High School. Largo High School principal Barbara Thornton visited Tosayamada last year and several Japanese teenagers and their teachers have been to Largo. The only expense the Largo High School students have is $1,425 for each airline ticket. Individuals or businesses willing to donate to the students expenses can send checks to Largo High School Exchange Program, 410 Missouri Ave., Largo, FL 34640.
