Darren Daulton drove in three runs as host Philadelphia snapped a season-high three-game losing streak. The Phillies overcame a 3-2 deficit against Ryan Bowen (4-7) when they batted around in the fifth inning, scoring five runs on four hits, three walks and two wild pitches. Daulton and Jim Eisenreich each singled in a run, Kim Batiste had a two-run single, while another run scored on a wild pitch. Ben Rivera (6-3) worked five innings, allowing three runs and six hits for the victory.
