Studio's students give piano, keyboards recital

A piano and keyboards recital was held recently at Center Place. Students from Brandon, Dover and Valrico areas who participated includedBrooke and Lyndi Bernhisel, Elizabeth Darby, Dara and Devin DeHart, Jennifer Fincke, Deniese and Keely Fischbach, Carson and Taylor Groff, Chaitalee and Mona Kardani, Neil Kumar, Andrew and Jennifer Kuo, Shih-Shan Lang, Melissa Meeks, Ingrid and Nathan Pfaffman, Allison and Eric Rehmeyer, Linda Szeto, Alys and Dawn Williams, and Nicole and Stefanie Wuckovith. All are students at the Olga A. Finch piano studio in Brandon.

In addition to solos performed on piano or keyboards, there were many duets. The recital ended with a quartet using both piano and keyboards. Awards were then presented and refreshments were served.

After the general recital, there were individual recitals featuring advanced students: Jennifer Fincke, Chaitalee Kardani, Shih-Shan Lang, Ingrid Pfaffman and Allison Rehmeyer.

Clinician works with Hispanics

Doris Ruiz has joined the staff of the Family Service Association of Greater Tampa. Ruiz was hired as a Brandon-based therapist through funding from the Children's Board of Hillsborough County. She works with Hispanic families and their children living in eastern Hillsborough County.
