Sunrise of Pasco County was a big winner in the recent bowl-a-thon that raised funds for its new 24-bed building. Laura Altman, board president of the domestic violence shelter, says proceeds from this event will be used to buy supplies and furniture for the shelter and also will go for operational expenses.
Winners in the bowl-a-thon included the team from McClain and McClain, P.A., which took high series honors and team high contributions. Greg Blankenship won the individual high male series; Terri O'Brien won the high female series; and Brenda Geiger won for the highest individual contributions collected.
