Pamela R. Ford has joined Raymond James Trust Co. in St. Petersburg as senior vice president of operations. Before joining the firm, Ford was a trust consultant with National Computer Systems in Atlanta. She also served as a trust operations officer with Gallatin National Bank in Uniontown, Pa.
E-Systems ECI Division has announced the promotion of two directors. Karl D. Crandall has been promoted to director of information systems, and Dean H. Staples has been promoted to director of protective services. Before the promotions, Crandall was manager of information systems and Staples was manager of protective services.
Benedict White Jr. has been named president of celebrity marketing and products for Home Shopping Network in St. Petersburg. White has been with the company since 1988. Before the promotion, White served as both head of the celebrity division and president of HSN LifeWay Health Products Inc.
Michael S. Hooker, a partner in the litigation department of the law firm of Glenn, Rasmussen & Fogarty in Tampa, was elected president of the American Heart Association, Metro Tampa Division.

R. Weber Oriental Rugs in Cincinnati. In November 1983, Weber opened Weber Oriental Rugs Inc. in St. Petersburg. The Oriental Rug Retailers of America Inc. includes rug retailers from throughout North America.
Donna Betz has joined the advertising agency of Altman Meder Lawrence Hill of Tampa as production manager. Before joining the firm, Betz was print production and traffic manager at Ellis and Diaz Advertising of Tampa.
