John Kruk hit a three-run homer in the seventh to lift host Philadelphia past Florida. The Phillies are 11-0 on Sunday this season. The victory was the third in a row and ninth in 12 games for Philadelphia and raised Tommy Greene's record to 9-1. Florida's Charlie Hough had a four-hitter and a 3-1 lead going into the seventh. With one out, pinch-hitter Milt Thompson reached on second baseman Bret Barberie's error and Joe Klink relieved. He allowed a single to Lenny Dykstra, then was replaced by Trevor Hoffman (2-2). Mariano Duncan forced Thompson at third, but Kruk hit the next pitch for his seventh homer.
