Linda McNeal was recently named resident manager of the Merrill Lynch Crystal River office. She will be responsible for office operations and oversight of financial consultants. Before her promotion, McNeal was a financial consultant for the company.

John W. Rowda, D.O., ophthalmologist at the Citrus Eye Center, recently attended a conference in Palm Beach concerning the latest techniques in cataract implant surgery. The conference was sponsored by the Florida Society of Ophthalmology.
Dr. Cheryl McFarland was recently accepted into the Florida Chiropractic Association, which represents the majority of licensed chiropractors in the state. An honors graduate of Life Chiropractic College, McFarland has been practicing in Homosassa Springs for three months.
