Rent-A-Kids, a program of the Job Service of Florida, assisted in the recent 1993 Trash Day Pickup in Beach Park.
Rent-A-Kids are junior high school students between the ages of 13 and 15 who are hired in their neighborhoods to do odd jobs. The Beach Park Homeowners Association sponsored the Trash Day Pickup.
Assisted by city trash trucks and supervising neighborhoods, the Rent-A-Kids collected trash left on curbs and helped to clean up Beach Park.

Tampa Prep grad on dean's list
Angela DiMaria has made the dean's list at Goucher College in Towson, Md. DiMaria, a 1992 graduate of Tampa Preparatory High School, completed her freshman year with a 3.65 grade-point average.
DiMaria is the daughter of Frank and Sandy DiMaria.
Rugby team to be honored
Mayor Sandy Freedman will honor the Tampa Generals, a national championship rugby team, at 2 p.m. today in the second floor Community Room at Burdines' Westshore Mall store.
The Generals were formed six years ago by the Tampa General Hospital Rehabilitation Center and have represented the city in regional and national competition. They won the national championship last year also.
The presentation will coincide with the Tampa Mayor's Alliance for Persons with Disabilities quarterly meeting. The meeting will feature speakers on the recreational programs that are available for persons with disabilities in the city, county and private sector.
