OBITUARIES

BUCHHEISTER, LUZIA, 71, of Holiday, died Monday (June 21, 1993) at Tampa General Hospital. She was born in Germany, and was a member of St. Vincent De Paul Catholic Church, its Ladies Guild, and Arts and Crafts. She was a volunteer at Community Hospital and Riverside Hospital. Survivors include two daughters, Elizabeth LaPointe, Connecticut, and Janet Lou Miller, Florida; a sister, Erika Scofield, Michigan; and three grandsons. National Cremation Society, Holiday.

De MAIO, ALBERT J., 74, of New Port Richey, died Monday (June 21, 1993) at HCA New Port Richey Hospital. Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., he came here seven years ago from Jefferson Station, N.Y. He was a retired printer for Consolidated Lithograph of New York, an Army Air Forces veteran of World War II, and a member of Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church. Survivors include three brothers, Charles Roca, Berlin, Gerald Roca, San Diego, and the Rev. Albert Roca, Port Murray, N.J.; a sister, Angela Moore, New Port Richey; and several nieces and nephews. DOYEN, WOLFGANG T., 48, of Hudson, died Saturday (June 19, 1993) at James A. Haley VA Hospital in Tampa. Born in Neustadt, Germany, he came here 12 years ago from Buffalo, N.Y. He was an auto mechanic and an Army veteran. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 7631 and the American Legion, both of Hudson. FORAN, RUTH M., 83, of Port Richey, died Monday (June 21, 1993) at home. Born in Napoleon, Ohio, she came here 20 years ago from Chicago. She was a stenographer for a law firm. FORTUNA, ANNA M., 80, of New Port Richey, died Sunday (June 20, 1993) at HCA New Port Richey Hospital. Born in Scranton, Pa., she came here 19 years ago from Elizabeth, N.J. She was a retired sales clerk and a member of Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church. She was a member of the New Port Richey Shuffleboard and Social Club, a former member of the Polish-American Pulaski Association, Holiday, a former member of the Polish-American Social Club, Hudson, and a former member of the Polish Legion of American Veterans. Survivors include her husband, Frank; a son, Frank A. II, Flanders, N.J.; a daughter, Dorisann Kalescky, Sommerville, N.J.; two brothers, Peter Golas, South Venice, and Paul Golas, New Port Richey; two sisters, Mary Yenchar, New York City, and Helen Doyle, Burnt Cabins, Pa.; two stepsisters, Rose Zalepsky and Ann Martovich, both of Springfield, N.J.; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. KORNER, ANNA, 78, of Port Richey, died Friday (June 18, 1993) at Riverside Hospital. She was born in Jersey City, N.J., and was a theatrical seamstress. She was a Jehovah's Witness, Port Richey. Survivors include two sons, Daniel, Spring Hill, and George, New Port Richey; a daughter, Karolyn, Port Richey; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. LAMBERT, CLARA M., 90, of New Port Richey, died Monday (June 21, 1993) at Richey Manor Nursing Center. She came here 32 years ago from her native Louisville, Ky. She was a retired cafeteria employee for International Harvester, Louisville, and a member of the First Baptist Church, New Port Richey. Survivors include a son, William A., Louisville; two daughters, Lillian Peak, New Port Richey, and Betty Baysinger, Louisville; a sister, Lillian Hagan, Louisville; nine grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. LINTUS, WILLIAM J., 80, of Holiday, died Saturday (June 19, 1993) at HCA New Port Richey Hospital. Born in Philadelphia, he came here 15 years ago from Blackwood, N.J. He was a welder for Westinghouse Electric Co., Lester, Pa., and the Community United Methodist Church, Holiday. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus Father Farrell Council 6476, Holiday. WITMER, HELEN D., 80, of Hudson, died Sunday (June 20, 1993) at HCA Bayonet Point/Hudson Medical Center. Born in Woodlawn, Pa., she came here 21 years ago from Brooklyn, N.Y. She was a retired policy writer for Commercial Union Insurance, New York, and Catholic. Survivors include her husband, James; two brothers, Albert Davis, Seattle, and Steven Davis, McKeesport, Pa.; and two sisters, Velma McLane and Clara Hochk, both of McKeesport.
