Residents will have their last chance Monday to comment on the proposed new city charter.
The new charter would replace the present form of Port Richey government with a manager-council form of government, where the council is limited to setting policy and the manager makes day-to-day decisions.
Currently, each council member makes the decisions for one of the city departments. Some critics have blamed much of the council's political turmoil on the current system.
The meeting will be at 7:30 p.m., at City Hall. The council will vote on the charter during the meeting. If approved, it will be offered to voters on the April 12 ballot.
