CAZAREZ, GONZALO JR., 2, of Ruskin, died Friday (Feb. 25, 1994) of injuries suffered in an auto accident. He was born in Ruskin and was a Catholic. Survivors include his parents, Gonzalo and Esmeralda; his paternal grandparents, Manuel and Esperanza Cazarez, Ruskin; and his maternal grandparents, Marcelino and Monserat Gutierrez, Ruskin. CONGER, BILLY L. "BILL," 48, of Tampa, died Saturday (Feb. 26, 1994) at St. Joseph's Hospital. He was born in Coshocton, Ohio, and came here 39 years ago. He was an account executive for Marketing Specialists Sales Co. and an Army veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church. Survivors include a son, Brian; a daughter, Kelly Lavigne, Tampa; and a brother, Russell, Marietta, Ga. Glass Funeral Home, Tampa.

CUNNINGHAM, MIKE G., 75, of Plant City, died Sunday (Feb. 27, 1994) at Lakeland Regional Medical Center. He was born in Bluff City, Va., and came here 15 years ago from Ocala. He was a surveyor for Edgemon Land Surveying and past president of the Georgia Society of Surveyors. He was an Army veteran of World War II and a Baptist. Survivors include his wife, Peachie; a daughter, Mary Simpson, Blacksburg, Va.; a grandson; and a great-granddaughter. Wells Memorial Funeral Home, Plant City.

ESCUDER, AMERICA G., 91, of Indian Rocks Beach, formerly of Tampa, died Saturday (Feb. 26, 1994) in St. Petersburg. She was born in Spain and came here 30 years ago. She was a dietitian. Survivors include three nieces, Carmen Llerandi, Indian Shores, Rosemary Burdick, Tampa, and Maureen Magnon, Bradenton; and four nephews, George R. and Rene Gonzalez, both of Tampa, Robert Nunez, Indian Shores, and Jose Quintana, Miami. HALLO, TERRY, 61, of Lake Panasoffkee, formerly of Tampa, died Saturday (Feb. 26, 1994) at home. He was born in Chicago and moved to Lake Panasoffkee from Tampa six months ago. He was a retired Tampa Police Department dispatcher and a Catholic. Survivors include two sons, Martin T. and Daniel A., both of Pinellas Park; two brothers, Edward, St. Louis, and Thomas, Tuscaloosa, Ala.; three sisters, Louise Schmeda, Chicago, Rosalie Allen, Aurora, Ill., and Sharon Tice, Lake Panasoffkee; and a grandson. HILLYARD, ROBERT DEAN II, infant son of Kenneth and Denise Hillyard of Riverview, died Sunday (Feb. 27, 1994) in Tampa. He was born in Tampa and was a Catholic. Other survivors include a sister, Colleen, Riverview; his paternal grandmother, Evelyn Mainger, Tampa; and his maternal grandparents, Roger and Barbara Braley, Aurora, Colo. JOHNSON, MELVIN G., 83, of Brandon, died Saturday (Feb. 26, 1994) at Village at Brandon. He was born in Superior, Wis., and came here 22 years ago from Milwaukee. He was a retired contractor and member of United Pentecostal Church in Brandon. He was a member of the carpenters union in Milwaukee. KIELY, WILLIAM T., 81, of Tampa, died Sunday (Feb. 27, 1994) at University Village Nursing Center. He was born in New York City and came here in 1988 from Port St. Lucie. A retail department store manager, he worked for Bloomingdale's, Bonwit Teller and Howlands in New York. He was president of the Peekskill Chamber of Commerce and a member of the Elks Lodge in Peekskill, N.Y. He was a 30-year member and past president of the Peekskill Kiwanis Club. Survivors include a daughter, Maureen P. Miller, Tampa, and two grandchildren. Glass Funeral Home, Tampa.

KORNEK, CORINNE P., 70, of Ruskin, died Saturday (Feb. 26, 1994) at Tampa General Hospital. She was born in Red Bank, N.J., and came here 15 years ago from New Jersey. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Anne's Catholic Church. She was a member of the Ladies of the Elks Ruskin Chapter. LANCE, NORMA ILENE, 56, of Tampa, died Monday (Feb. 28, 1994) at Tampa General Hospital. She was born in Wayne, Ohio, and lived in Tampa most of her life. She was a manager/secretary in the finance industry and worked for Dunn & Bradstreet, Bay Cadillac, the Tampa Recreation Department and Volume Service. She was a member of the Pythian Sisterhood, Sunny Dale Recreation Club and American Legion. She attended Manhattan Baptist Church. Survivors include her mother, Neva Earl, Tampa; a son, Bennie Lance, Tampa; three daughters, Patricia Lynn Freeland, Royal Palm Beach, and Lori Jean Spriggs and Neva Dawn Lance, both of Tampa; a brother, John Earl, Riverview; three sisters, Sharon Epps, Valdosta, Ga., Margaret Lytle, Bradenton, and Peg Norman, Satellite Beach; and two grandsons. LUDDINGTON, RUBY MAE, 79, of Tampa, died Monday (Feb. 28, 1994) at home. She was born in Greenville, S.C., and came here in 1935 from Jacksonville. She was a homemaker and a Protestant. Survivors include two sons, Richard, Seffner, and Michael, Quincy, Mass.; two daughters, Betty Luddington, Tampa, and Linda Luddington, Pennsylvania; four sisters; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. PFEIFFER, CLATHA L., 79, of Tampa, died Sunday (Feb. 27, 1994) at home. She was born in West Union, W.Va., and came here in 1978 from Gaithersburg, Md. She was a homemaker and a member of Palma Ceia United Methodist Church. Survivors include her husband, Charles L.; two sons, Bruce, Richmond, Va., and Paul, Tampa; two daughters, Sally Lewis, Damascus, Md., and Janet Stair, Tega Cay, S.C.; a brother, William Moyer, New Jersey; two sisters, Margaret Martin, Maryland, and Jean Oglvie, Pennsylvania; and nine grandchildren. PUTNAM, CURTIS L., 58, of Apollo Beach, died Friday (Feb. 25, 1994) at Tampa General Hospital. He was born in Springfield, Vt., and came here in 1976. He was a retail clerk and an Air Force veteran. SHERMAN, ROBERT EUGENE, 65, of Tampa, died Sunday (Feb. 27, 1994) at Memorial Hospital. He was born in Ohio and came here 34 years ago. He was an insurance agent and a member of Christ the King Catholic Church. Survivors include his wife, Andree; his mother, Amelia Sherman, Piqua, Ohio; two sons, Joel, Washington, D.C., and Robert Jr., Land O'Lakes; a daughter, Elizabeth Sherman, Prague, Czechoslovakia; a brother, Harold F. SLOCUM, GERTRUDE W., 79, of Mango, died Friday (Feb. 25, 1994) at Brandon Hospital. She was born in Hartford, Conn., and came here 49 years ago. She was a homemaker and a Catholic. Survivors include a son, William Carl, Mango; three daughters, Charlotte Sanchez, Riverview, and Gladys McPeak and Sharon Leverett, both of Mango; a brother, Joe Brown, Burlington, Mass.; a sister, Mitzi, Springtown, Texas; 11 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren. WAIT, ALLENE M., 93, of Sun City Center, died Sunday (Feb. 27, 1994) at Palm Gardens Nursing Home, Sun City Center. She was born in Kingsville, Mo., and came here in 1987 from Kansas City. She was a homemaker and a Protestant. Survivors include a daughter, Margaret W. Driscoll, Sun City Center; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. WHITAKER, EDWARD H., 63, of Tampa, died Sunday (Feb. 27, 1994) at James A. Haley VA Hospital. He was born in Rolla, Mo., and came here in 1966 from Sumter, S.C. He was an Air Force technical sergeant and a veteran of the Korean and Vietnam wars. he was a member of the American Legion Post of Tampa and the Veterans of Foreign Wars. Survivors include his wife, Dell I.; three sons, Rex, Michael and Matt, all of Tampa; a brother, Herschel, St. Charles, Mo.; a sister, Martha Pruitt, Peoria, Ill.; and two grandchildren. WHITMER, OWEN R., 62, of Sydney, died Friday (Feb. 25, 1994) at Brandon Hospital. He was born in Overbrook, Pa., and came here in 1972 from Pittsburgh. He was an ironworker and an Army veteran of the Korean War. He was a member of Wagner Memorial Church of the Nazarene. Survivors include two sons, Steven R., Elizabeth, Pa., and David L., Bethel Park, Pa.; a daughter, Brenda R. WYKLE, EMMA R., 84, of Tampa, died Sunday (Feb. 27, 1994) at Manor Care of Carrollwood. She was born in Greene County, Tenn., and came here in 1974 from Johnson City, Tenn. She was a homemaker.
