More than a week since undergoing a lung transplant, a Palm Harbor baby is improving in a St. Louis hospital. Eleven-week-old Meagan Craig, born with a rare lung disorder, has shown no signs of rejecting her lungs, said Dr. Aaron Hamvas, of St. Louis Children's Hospital. "The lungs are working great," Hamvas said. Although still breathing with the help of machines, Meagan is breathing some on her own. Meagan is at the hospital with another Pinellas baby with the same disease. Seven-week-old Autumn Karyn Bailey of Pinellas Park is awaiting a lung donor. "She's hanging in there," Hamvas said. Both were in critical but stable condition Tuesday.
