OBITUARIES

ADRIAN, MYRON D., 69, of Homosassa, died Sunday (Feb. 27, 1994). Born in Chester Hill, Ohio, he came here 12 years ago from Columbus, Ohio. He was an electronic technician and a Protestant. He was an Army veteran of World War II and a life member of Disabled American Veterans Post 139. Survivors include his wife, Irene Ann; and a sister, Kathleen Randall, Wyandotte, Mich. BORING, EVA GERALDINE, 74, of Floral City, died Monday (Feb. 28, 1994) at home. She was born in White, Ga., and was a retired employee of the Fitchburg Centennial newspaper in Georgia. She was a Protestant. There are no immediate survivors. Charles E. Davis Funeral Home, Inverness.

BRIDGEWATER, WILLIAM HARPER, 70, of Crystal River and Indian River, Mich., died Tuesday (March 1, 1994). Born in Detroit, he was a winter resident of Crystal River. He was a retired excavator, a life member of the Lions Club, and a member of the Sportsman's Club and the Police Officers Association, all of Indian River. Survivors include his wife, Doris Brooks; three sons, Jerry Brooks, Indian River, Robert Pugh, White Lake, Mich., and Dale Pugh, Indian River; three daughters, Sharon Stephens, Jackson, Mich., and DeBonna Cole and Dorene Pugh, both of Indian River; a sister, Hope Darling, Cheboygan, Mich.; 10 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. HARLEY, MARGARET H., 95, of Spring Hill, died Monday (Feb. 28, 1994) at HCA Bayonet Point/Hudson Medical Center. Born in Nashua, N.H., she came here 10 years ago from Lowell, Mass. She was a homemaker. Survivors include a daughter, Phyllis Erickson, Spring Hill; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Wellwood Funeral Home, Hudson.

LAWTON, VIVIAN J., 62, of Beverly Hills, died Tuesday (March 1, 1994) at Citrus Memorial Hospital, Inverness. Born in New Bedford, Mass., she came here four years ago from Fairhaven, Mass. She was a retired baker and a Catholic. Survivors include her husband, Kenneth H.; two sons, Stephen K., Plymouth, Mass., and Keith R., Beverly Hills; and four grandchildren. McGIVERN, SANDRA HATFIELD, 51, of Silver Springs Shores, formerly of Crystal River, died Sunday (Feb. 27, 1994). She came here 40 years ago from her native Cabin Creek, W. Va. She was an employee for Midstate Federal, a member of Key Training Center, and a Methodist. Survivors include her husband, Ronald; a son, Jason Proveaux, Silver Springs Shores; three daughters, Roxanne Lovett and Velvet Hill, both of Ocala, and Brenna Catozzi, Delaware; three brothers, Lawrence Hatfield, Ozello, James Hatfield, Chelyan, W. Va., and Robert Hatfield, Crystal River; three sisters, Betty Keglor, Ann Middleton and Linda Roddenberry, all of Ocala; and nine grandchildren. Strickland Funeral Home, Crystal River.

SCOTT, RUTH S., 74, of Bangor, Maine, died Tuesday (March 1, 1994) at Brooksville Regional Hospital. Born in Freedom, Maine, she was a winter visitor of Brooksville. VERNER, HESTER EVELYN, 75, of Brooksville, died Tuesday (March 1, 1994) at home. Born in Spring Lake, she was a lifelong resident of the area. She was a retired secretary with Johnson Dry Goods, Hernando Egg Producers and J.D. Clynard Auto Repair. She was a member of Spring Lake Methodist Church, American Legion Auxiliary 99, and the 8 and 40 American Legion, Salon 235, Tampa. Survivors include a son, Marvin, Brooksville; two daughters, Alice Black, Brooksville, and Ima Cheatum, Japan; two sisters, Ima Singletary, Jacksonville, and Leonora Keene, Tampa; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. YATES, JIMMIE LUCILLE PARRIS, 83, of Inverness, died Wednesday (March 2, 1994) at Citrus Memorial Hospital, Inverness. Born in Double Springs, Ala., she came here six years ago from Orlando. She was a retired real estate broker and a member of Fort Cooper Missionary Baptist Church, Inverness. Survivors include two sons, Carl Parris, Inverness, and Jimmy D. Parris, Orlando; two daughters, Charlotte Broxton, Orlando, and Dorothy Reeves, Opp, Ala.; two brothers, Jay Bartlett and Paul Bartlett, Double Springs; a sister, Thelma, Sanford; 13 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
