HILLSBOROUGH OBITUARIES

GAY, NEVADA T., 94, of Tampa, died Thursday (March 3, 1994) at University Village Nursing Center. She was born in Doerun, Ga., and came here 49 years ago from Camilla, Ga. She was a homemaker and a member of El Bethel Primitive Baptist Church. Survivors include a son, Howard G., New Fraunfels, Texas; two daughters, Dorothy G. Wood, Tampa, and Charlotte G. GRANT, WILMA FLOY, 83, of Plant City, died Tuesday (March 1, 1994) at Community Convalescent Center. She was born in Meigs County, Ohio, and came here four years ago from Pleasantville, Pa. She was a homemaker and a member of Christian & Missionary Alliance Church in Pleasantville. She is survived by a daughter, Florence Moherman, Plant City. Wells Memorial Funeral Home, Plant City.

HANSEN, ERNEST, 55, of Plant City, died Tuesday (March 1, 1994) at South Florida Baptist Hospital. He was born in Lakeland and was a truck driver for Publix. He was an Army veteran and a Baptist. Survivors include his wife, Heidi; a son, Rickey, Plant City; his parents, the Rev. Otto and Maereid Hansen, Lakeland; two brothers, Carl and Fred, both of Lakeland; three sisters, Betty Lou Sweeney, Plant City, and Marleen Grantham and Charlene Arrington, both of Lakeland. HAY, KATHRYN TRUDY, 60, of Plant City, died Wednesday (March 2, 1994) at Forest Park Nursing Home. She was born in Moultrie, Ga., and came here in 1940. She was a homemaker and a Primitive Baptist. Survivors include two daughters, Sharon Clink, Plant City, and Pam Perry, Brandon; her parents, Everett and Eddy Mae Fambro, Plant City; a brother, Herbert Fambro, Leesburg; and a grandchild. HUSTON, JOHN "JACK," 75, of Dover, died Wednesday (March 2, 1994) at home. He was born in Brackenridge, Pa., and came here in 1980 from Highland, Ind. He was a maintenance supervisor and worked for Pneumo-Abex Corp. in Hammond, Ind., for 44{ years. He was a member of Presbyterian Church of Seffner and the Blue Masonic Lodge 735 in Griffith, Ind. He was a 32nd-degree Mason, a member of the Scottish Rite and Consistory of South Bend, Ind. Survivors include his wife, Mary M. "Molly"; two sons, John Kendall Jr., Houston, and Walter Allen, Hammond; a daughter, Mary K. Redmond, Indianapolis; three brothers, the Rev. Earl Jr., Cabot, Pa., and Walter S. and Donald J., both of Tarentum, Pa.; a sister, Alice K. Demange, Tarentum; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Stowers Funeral Home, Brandon.

KORPOL, RUTH ANN, 22, of Land O'Lakes, died Wednesday (March 2, 1994) in Tampa of injuries sustained in an auto accident. She was born in Tampa and was a student at Pasco-Hernando Community College. She was a graduate of Land O'Lakes High School and a member of Land O'Lakes Christian Church. Survivors include her father, Robert M. Korpol, Land O'Lakes; her mother, Betty J. Korpol, Brandon; two brothers, Robert Scott and Paul Ross Korpol, both of Tampa; her paternal grandfather, Paul R. Korpol, Lutz; and her maternal grandmother, Patsy Covington, Madison, Tenn. F. T. LEMMONS, SUSAN, 42, of Odessa, died Thursday (March 3, 1994) at home. She was born in Tarpon Springs and was a lifelong area resident. She was a homemaker and a member of Keystone Bible Church. Survivors include her husband, Ray; two daughters, Melissa and Stephanie, both of Odessa; her father, Wesley C. Eifert, Marble, N.C.; her mother, Velma Kidle, Spring Hill; a brother, Wesley, Vacaville, Calif.; and three sisters, Gale Barber, Odessa, Donna Fry, Marble, and Laurna Perkins, Tampa. MABRY, NORFLEET, 73, of Ocala, formerly of Tampa, died Tuesday (March 1, 1994) in Ocala. She was born in Hattiesburg, Miss., and lived in Tampa 18 years. She was a nurse and a Protestant. Survivors include her husband, Marvin L.; two daughters, Dianna E. Hanger, Atlanta, and Cheryl Mills, Blue Ridge, Ga.; a sister, Elizabeth Whiteside, Stone Mountain, Ga.; and six grandchildren. PRIOLO, JOHN F., 82, of Valrico died Wednesday (March 2, 1994) at Brandon Hospital. He was born in New London, Conn., and came here 21 years ago. He was employed as a pipe fitter with Electric Boat Co. in Groton, Conn. He was a Catholic and a member of the Church of the Nativity and the Golden Agers Club. He was a member of Fraternal Order of Eagles, Brandon Aerie 3566, the Brandon Moose Lodge and the Electric Boat Athletic Club in New London. Survivors include a son, Peter, Valrico; a brother, Louis, Port St. Lucie; two sisters, Mary Ruedell and Tina Pennella, both of New London; and three grandchildren. SELLERS, PHYLLIS LORRAINE, 68, of Tampa, died Wednesday (March 2, 1994) at University Community Hospital. She was born in Smithfield, Pa., and came here six years ago from San Dimas, Calif. She was a cafeteria manager for Temple Heights Christian School. Survivors include her husband, Wilbert; two sons, John D. and David W., both of Fort Myers; three daughters, Laurel Vernard and Tammy Sellers, both of La Verne, Calif., and Amy McDonald, Diamond Bar, Calif.; and 10 grandchildren. TOMLINSON, ANNIE MAE, 83, of Plant City, died Wednesday (March 2, 1994) at Brandon Hospital. She was born in Hawkinsville, Ga., and was a longtime Plant City resident. She was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church of Dover. Survivors include three sons, Randy and Roy, both of Plant City, and Raymond, Myakka City; two daughters, Brenda Joshlin, Coldwater, Miss., and Shirley Tomlinson, Plant City; a brother, Tom Lewis, Plant City; a sister, Antha Tomlinson, Plant City; 14 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. WYNN, APRIL MICHELLE, 21, of Land O'Lakes, formerly of Tampa, died Wednesday (March 2, 1994) in Tampa. She was born in Biloxi, Miss., and moved to Land O'Lakes from Tampa 2{ years ago. She worked for Subway Sandwich Shop in Land O'Lakes and attended Pasco-Hernando Community College. She was a 1990 graduate of Chamberlain High School and a member of Lake Carroll Baptist Church. Survivors include her mother, Nancy G. Wynn, Tampa; her father, Larry D. Wynn, Land O'Lakes; two sisters, Stacy A. Dixon, Lawrence, Tenn., and Deana G.
