N. Carolina A&T 88, FAMU 78: Phillip Allen scored 27 points and host North Carolina A&T held off a second-half rally to win. Florida A&M (4-22, 2-14 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference) took its last lead at 22-20 with 9:42 left in the first half. The Aggies (12-13, 9-6 MEAC) went on a 15-2 run over the next four minutes to take a 35-24 lead.
Florida St. 71, Ga. Tech 68: Freshman James Collins scored 20 points, including a pair of free throws with 13.5 seconds remaining, to boost host Florida State. The Seminoles (13-13, 6-10) have won six straight over Tech since moving into the Atlantic Coast Conference three years ago. Collins scored 14 points in the second half to help Florida State overcome a 26-25 halftime deficit. Tech (15-11, 6-9) pulled to within three points on four occasions in the final 2:10 and twice had the ball with a chance for a tie with a three-point shot.

Indiana State: Tates Locke, head coach since 1989, was fired after a 4-22 season. The record was the school's worst in Locke's five years. The Sycamores failed to reach the Missouri Valley Conference tournament field and finished tied for last in the 10-team league.
Ohio State: Leading scorer Derek Anderson had surgery to repair a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee.
Florida State: Christy Derlak was named to the Atlantic Coast Conference second team. Derlak was fourth in the league in scoring, averaging 17.3 points per game.
