Who: Tampa Bay Lightning (24-34-8) vs. Hartford Whalers (22-36-7).
When/where: 7:35, ThunderDome.
TV/radio: Sunshine Network; WFNS-AM 910, WLVU-FM 106.3.
The series: Tampa Bay won the only meeting this season, 4-1 Nov. 24 at the ThunderDome.
Who's hurt: Tampa Bay _ Defenseman Roman Hamrlik (bruised shoulder) and left wing Petr Klima (separated shoulder) will not play. Defenseman Donald Dufresne (knee) is day-to-day. Hartford _ Goalie Mario Gosselin (knee), center Darren Turcotte (knee), right wing Jim Sandlak (foot), defenseman Bryan Marchment (ankle), left wing Robert Kron (shoulder) and defenseman Adam Burt (shoulder) are not expected to play.
About the Lightning: Tampa Bay is 1-4-3 in the past eight games at the ThunderDome. The good news is that Joe Reekie and Brian Bradley, who left Thursday night's 5-4 overtime loss to New Jersey early with the flu, should be healthy enough to play. Dufresne may be back.
Rob DiMaio has four goals in his past five games _ after scoring three goals in his first 28.
About the Whalers: The Whalers were 0-3-1 in their past four games and 1-5-1 in their past seven before beating Florida 2-1 Friday night. During that winless streak, Hartford was shut out by Detroit and had one goal in each of the other three games.
Scouting: Gene Ubriaco, coach of the Lightning's minor-league affiliate Atlanta Knights, won't be behind bench the rest of the season. He will concentrate on scouting NHL pros for the Lightning as the trade deadline of March 21 approaches. Joe Bucchino, assistant coach and assistant director of hockey operations, will be interim coach.
