The disappearing publishing house has been found.
In December, Times Travel Editor Robert N. Jenkins reviewed Along the Interstate 75, which charts the Michigan-Florida highway in 25-mile segments, listing every gas station, motel and fast-food place. But recently, callers have said they could not locate the Buffalo, N.Y., publisher, to order the book.
That firm has closed, author Dave Hunter said from Toronto last week. The book is $19.95 U.S., plus $5 for shipping and handling, from Mile Oak Publishing, P.O. Box 6000, Brampton, Ont., L7A 1B1, Canada; (800) 661-6867.
