HILLSBOROUGH OBITUARIES

EDWARDS, LH, 55, of Tampa, died Thursday (March 3, 1994) at Mease Hospital, Countryside. He was born in Elk City, Okla., and moved to Tampa from there in 1974. He was assistant trainer at Tampa Bay Downs and was a U.S. Navy veteran during peacetime. Survivors include a daughter, Tammy K. Edwards, Tampa; two brothers, Rob, Wyoming and Paul, Nebraska; and a sister, Lagene Tyk, San Antonio, Texas. Holloway Funeral Home, Oldsmar.

GILBERT, MARTHA WILLETTE MILLS, 81, of Tampa, died Wednesday (March 2, 1994) in Tampa. She was a native and lifelong resident of Tampa, a homemaker, a lifetime member of First Baptist Church of Tampa and a graduate of H. B. Plant High School. Survivors include a daughter, Martha Caroline Harmon, Volent, Pa.; two sisters, Virginia Lee Buchanan, Wauchula, and Emily Yvonne Mills, Tampa; and one grandchild. HATTAN, FLORENCE, 78, of New Port Richey, died Friday (March 4, 1994) at North Bay Medical Center, New Port Richey. She was born in Scranton, Pa. and moved to Pasco County and the Tampa Bay area from Rochelle, N.Y., six months ago. She was a retired legal secretary for an attorney and was a Catholic. Survivors include a niece, Maryann Sine, New Port Richey; a nephew, Jim M. Kilcullen, Tampa; and several cousins. Glass Funeral Home, Tampa.

LOVE, PATRICIA ANN, 60, of Brandon, died Friday (March 4, 1994) at her daughter's residence. She was born in Savannah, Ga., and moved to Tampa from there in 1970. She was self-employed in the child care business and was a member of the Church of the Nativity. Survivors include a son, Chris Love, Melbourne; a daughter, Deborah Love McCarthy, Tampa; and a granddaughter, Shannon McCarthy, Tampa. Stowers Funeral Home, Brandon.

MIHALOVICH, ROSE ANN, 91, of Tampa, died Friday (March 4, 1994) at University Community Hospital. She was born in Fayetteville, Ga., and moved to Tampa from Manatee County in 1943. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Seventh-day Adventist Church. Survivors include a daughter, Margaret Clark, Tampa; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. PECHARKA, BERNADETTE SUE, 37, of Tampa, died Friday (March 4, 1994) at University Community Hospital. She was born in Canonsburg, Pa., and moved to Tampa from Washington, Pa., in 1986. She was a nurse's aid at a nursing home and a Protestant. Survivors include her husband, Robert Hernandez, Tampa; a daughter, Providence Hernandez, Tampa; a brother, John Fox, Washington, Pa.; two sisters, Jacqueline Murin, Washington, Pa., and Donna Fox, Sykesville, Md.; and her mother, Martha J. WATERS, MCKINZY, 86, of Buck Head Ridge, died Wednesday (March 2, 1994) at Palm Beach Hospital. He was born in Wimauma and had lived in Sarasota from 1950 until 1984 when he moved to Buck Head Ridge. He was the owner and operator of Waters Septic Tank Service and a Baptist. Survivors include his wife, Hazel, Buck Head Ridge; four sons, David, Tampa, Brian, Las Vegas, and Michael and John, both of Sarasota; two daughters, Nancy, Sarasota, and Marilyn Silva, Canada; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
