Some points to consider

Depending on your age and physical condition, some precautions should be taken before adding strenuous physical activity to your life.

Most experts say that it's safe for people under the age of 40 with no history of heart disease and other chronic conditions to perform almost any sensible activity as long as they start slowly and at low levels of intensity.

People 40 and older and those with pre-existing conditions should consult with their doctors first.
