John A. McCormac has been promoted to vice president of Harvard Jolly Clees Toppe Architects in St. Petersburg. Before the promotion, McCormac served as the project manager for the $16-million expansion of Sun Coast Hospital in Largo and $10-million patient tower addition to Helen Ellis Memorial Hospital in Tarpon Springs. Jeffrey E. Cobble also has been named vice president. Before his promotion, Cobble served as the project manager for the $4-million expansion of the Marina Civic Center Theatre and Auditorium in Panama City and a $6.8-million elementary school project for Pasco County.


Cynthia A. Stokes has been named executive vice president for United Bank in St. Petersburg. Before the appointment, Stokes served as senior vice president with overall responsibility for bank operations, marketing and advertising.


Lee Dunnam has been named director of business development for Brice Building Co.'s Florida division, based in Orlando. Before joining the company, Dunnam was with CB Commercial in Orlando.


James L. Wasenda has been named marketing director for Medfield Hospital of Largo. Wasenda has been at Medfield since 1989. Before the appointment, he served as program director for the hospital's child and adolescent unit.

Carol E. Jones has been named administrative director for St. Anthony's Family Medicine at the James Sanderlin Center in St. Petersburg. She has been with St. Anthony's since 1991.


Shan Thomas has been named vice president for CB Commercial Real Estate Group Inc. of Tampa. Thomas began as a real estate sales associate with CB Commercial in 1978 in Houston. She joined the Tampa office in 1985.
