OBITUARIES

ABRAMOWITZ, SAMUEL, 78, of Beverly Hills, died Sunday (March 6, 1994). Born in New York City, he came here 20 years ago from Brighton Beach, N.Y. He was a retired teacher for the New York City school system and an Army veteran of World War II. He was a member of Temple Beth Shalom and its Men's Club, Beverly Hills, the B'nai B'rith and the Beverly Hills Civic Association. Survivors include his wife, Blanche Rogers; a son, Jay S., Salt Lake City; a daughter, Norma S. Belkin, Houston; two brothers, Joseph, Citrus Springs, and Murray, Delray Beach; three sisters, Fay Cohen, Beverly Hills, and Tessie Callman and Rose Osit, both of Delray Beach; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. APICELLO, PHILIP A., 67, of Citrus Springs, died Sunday (March 6, 1994) at Seven Rivers Community Hospital. He came here 12 years ago from his native Yonkers, N.Y. He was a retired meat consultant and a Catholic. He was a Navy veteran of World War II. Survivors include his wife, Genevieve; two daughters, Barbara Fagan and Donna Neshewat, both of Citrus Springs; a sister, Carmela Slaughter, Camdenton, Mo.; and four grandchildren. BAUMANN, JOHN H., 80, of Beverly Hills, died Saturday (March 5, 1994). Born in Queens, N.Y., he came here 22 years ago from Bay Shore, N.Y. He was a retired firefighter and Realtor. He was a member of the Coast Guard Auxiliary, Crystal River, a Catholic, and a former real estate representative for Rolling Oaks Corp., Beverly Hills. Survivors include his wife, Catherine B.; a son, John J., Islip, N.Y.; two daughters, Barbara Baumann, Oviedo, and Mildred Wehner, St. Petersburg; and two grandchildren. GABBARD, JAMES E., 65, of Weeki Wachee, died Sunday (March 6, 1994) at Shands Hospital, Gainesville. Born in McKey, Ky., he came here 27 years ago from Hamilton, Ohio. He was a retired building contractor and a member of Christ Community Church, Weeki Wachee Hills. Survivors include his wife, Mary; two sons, James Conklin, Hamilton, and the Rev. Lewis Gabbard, Brooksville; a daughter, C. Elaine French, Weeki Wachee Hills; a brother, Jesse Jr. Hamilton; eight sisters, Effie Wilson, Lucy Howard and Judy Bebee, all of Hamilton, Ivas Mullins, Franklin, Ohio, Molly Bea Smith, Port St. Lucie, Betty Taulbe, Dayton, Ohio, Georgie Carlton, Cincinnati, and Yvonne Gorham, Palmetto; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. GAUS, LOUISE M., 86, of Beverly Hills, died Saturday (March 5, 1994) at Avante Nursing Center, Inverness. Born in Germany, she came here 20 years ago from Elmhurst, N.Y. HAMILTON, LEWIS E., 61, of Brooksville, died Friday (March 4, 1994) at HCA Oak Hill Hospital. Born in Tifton, Ga., he came here four years ago from Lutz. He was a retired supervisor for the Civil Service and an Army veteran. Survivors include his wife, Thelma; a daughter, Martha Eddings, Tampa; three stepdaughters, Toni Williams, Lutz, Kathy Mundy, Logansport, Ind., and Carla Nolte, Kokomo, Ind.; his mother, Mildred, Tampa; three brothers, Fred, James and Wayne, all of Tampa; a sister, Doris O'Conner, Tampa; and six grandchildren. LEGROS, LILLIAN M., 81, of Crystal River, died Saturday (March 5, 1994) at Seven Rivers Community Hospital. Born in New York City, she came here seven years ago from St. Petersburg. She was a homemaker and a Catholic. Survivors include two sons, Henry L., Crystal River, and John C., St. Petersburg; six grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter. McDUFFIE, THEDA E., 83, of Brookridge, Brooksville, died Sunday (March 6, 1994) at home. She was a winter resident here from Derry, N.H., and a retired inspector for the shoe manufacturing industry. She attended St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church and the Eagles Auxiliary. Survivors include her husband, Clarence; two daughters, Elaine Mills, Londonderry, N.H., and Elva Flanders, Derry; eight grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. MIGILIORE, ROSE MARIE "TOODY," 64, of Beverly Hills, died Saturday (March 5, 1994) at Citrus Memorial Hospital. Born in Pennsylvania, she came here four years ago from Lancaster, Ohio. She was a homemaker and a Catholic. Survivors include two sons, Thomas W. Wood Jr., Streetsboro, Ohio, and Tim Wood, Midland, Pa.; his mother, Nancy Galioto, California; and two brothers, Thomas Galioto and Andrew Galioto, both of California. SCHROEDER, G. ROGER, 69, of Crystal River, died Saturday (March 5, 1994) at home. Born in Portsmouth, Ohio, he came here three years ago from Phoenixville, Pa. He was a retired technical engineer for General Electric and the former owner of Roger's Foreign Car Parts, Pottstown, Pa., and Phoenixville. He was a Navy veteran of World War II, a past member of the American Legion Post 28, Delaware, an honorary member of the American Legion Post 155, Crystal River, and a member of the Porsche Club, Reading, Pa. Survivors include his wife, Wanda; three sons, Gary E., Atlanta, Roger, Birmingham, Ala., and Scott A., Phoenixville; a daughter, Carol Fry, Schwenksville, Pa.; and 10 grandchildren. WEINBERGER, CHARLES H., 76, of Citrus Springs, died Sunday (March 6, 1994) at home. Born in Pennsylvania, he came here 17 years ago from Willow Grove, Pa. He was a retired inspector for Western Electric Co. and a Methodist. He was an Army Air Forces veteran of World War II, and a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Citrus Springs, the W. K. Bray Lodge F&AM, Pennsylvania, the Citrus Springs Country Club, and the Citrus Springs Volunteer Fire Department. Survivors include his wife, Doris M.; a son, Daniel, West Palm Beach; a daughter, Nancy McCoy, Westminster, Md.; a brother, Paul, Doylestown, Pa.; a sister, Edith Ewer, Orlando; and three grandchildren.
