OBITUARIES

BROGAN, CHARLES R., 69, of Beverly Hills, died Tuesday (Oct. 18, 1994) at home. Born in Providence, R.I., he came here seven years ago from Lincoln, R.I. He was a retired employee in the textile industry and a Catholic. He was a Navy veteran of World War II and a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Harry Nesbet Post 10087, Beverly Hills. Survivors include a stepbrother, Mark, Attleboro, Mass.; and several nieces and nephews. Fero Funeral Home, Beverly Hills.

ESPOSITO, JOHN R., 94, of Spring Hill, died Tuesday (Oct. 18, 1994) at HCA Oak Hill Hospital. He came here seven years ago from his native Scranton, Pa. He was a bank teller for the First National Bank, Scranton, and Catholic. Survivors include his wife, Marion; two sons, John, Randolph, N.J., and Michael, New Bern, N.C.; three daughters, Molly Moran, Old Forge, Pa., Mae Gilbert, Scranton, and Marion Badwak, Spring Hill; 21 grandchildren; and 30 great-grandchildren. FULLER, HERBERT H. "HERB," 54, of Inverness, died Tuesday (Oct. 18, 1994) at Citrus Memorial Hospital. Born in Salisbury, Conn., he came here 23 years ago from Torrington, Conn. He was a diesel mechanic for S.M.I. Concrete, Inverness, and a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, Inverness. Survivors include his wife, Frances Shannon; two sons, Michael R. and Thomas H., both of Inverness; a daughter, Patricia A. Armstrong, Floral City; his mother, Olive, Torrington; three brothers, Butch, Al and Clifford, all of Connecticut; two sisters, Shirley Greene and Lillian Chaussee, both of Connecticut; and six grandchildren. GARLINGHOUSE, VERNON A., 73, of Spring Hill, died Tuesday (Oct. 18, 1994) at HCA Oak Hill Hospital. He came here nine years ago from his native Vernon, N.J. He was a retired lead man for Hercules Corp. and a Protestant. He was an Army veteran of World War II and a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 8441, Vernon. Survivors include his wife, Marie; two daughters, Lucinda Auche, Spring Hill, and Melinda Scott, St. Petersburg; a sister, Margaret Guthrie, Spring Hill; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. GIRARD, DORIS G., 83, of Brooksville, died Tuesday (Oct. 18, 1994) at Brooksville Regional Hospital. She came here 55 years ago from her native Reading, Mass. She was a retired medical secretary. Survivors include two daughters, June Patterson, Brooksville, and Nancy Horn, St. Petersburg; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Merritt Funeral Home, Brooksville.

MUNKERS, NAOMI S., 79, of Brooksville, died Tuesday (Oct. 18, 1994) at HCA Bayonet Point Hospital, Hudson. Born in Brunswick, Maine, she came here 10 years ago from Rockland, Maine. She was a homemaker and a Protestant. She was a life member of Disabled American Veterans Chapter 67. Survivors include her husband, Clifford; and a brother, David Stearns, Bangor, Maine. SHANNON, DOREEN, 69, of Dunnellon, died Monday (Oct. 17, 1994) at home. Born in Lancashire, England, she came here four years ago from Farmingville, N.Y. She was a homemaker and a Catholic. Survivors include three sons, Robert H., Crystal River, Michael P., Poughkeepsie, N.Y., and William A. Jr., Williston Park, N.Y.; two daughters, Patricia A. Jacoutot, Medford, N.Y., and Gail M. Tice, Holbrook, N.Y.; a brother, Donald Groves, Lancashire; a sister, Barbara Croft, Dunnellon; and eight grandchildren. Brown Funeral Home, Crystal River.

SPROUT, A. GERTRUDE, 81, of Spring Hill, died Sunday (Oct. 16, 1994) at HCA Oak Hill Hospital. Born in Jefferson Township, Pa., she came here one year ago from Lancaster, Pa. She was a first lieutenant in the Army nursing corps during World War II and a member of St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church. She was a registered nurse at St. Joseph's Hospital, Lancaster, a member of the Sacred Heart Women's Guild, and the Republican Party committee woman for Lancaster. Survivors include a daughter, Rosemary E. LoBianco, Spring Hill; two brothers, Harvey Jeffries, North Charleroi, Pa., and Dr. Arthur Jeffries, Roscoe, Pa.; three sisters, Jane Hollick, Pleasant Hills, Pa., Isabelle Bakewell, Brownsville, Pa., and Bessie Griffith, Wilmington, N.C.; and three grandchildren.
