Paul and Anne Penderghest have celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary. They were married Oct. 20, 1934, in Philadelphia.
Mrs. Penderghest retired from the Philadelphia School Board. Penderghest was a salesman for Philadelphia Food Brokers before his retirement. They moved to St. Petersburg in 1979.
They have a son and daughter-in-law who live in Brooksville with the Penderghests' two grandchildren.
Warren and Dorothea Raley celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary at a surprise dinner party at the Sirata Beach Resort. The celebration was attended by family and friends. They were married Sept. 15, 1944, in Palatka.
Mrs. Raley is a homemaker, and Raley retired from Freedom Square Life Care Retirement Community.
They have one son and two grandchildren.
George and Cathryn Stephens celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Sept. 18 with an open house attended by family and friends. They were married Sept. 16, 1944, in Martins Ferry, Ohio.
They moved to St. Petersburg in 1953 where, after many years of service, Mrs. Stephens retired from Florida National Bank, and Stephens retired from the former Maas Brothers. They both work part-time at Tyrone Square Mall.
They have two daughters and two grandchildren.
