What: Reverse Enduro and other short-track stock car races featuring Late Models, Sportsman, Open Wheel Modifieds, Mini Stocks, Street Stocks, Figure 8s and Oval Drags.

Where: 4550 Ulmerton Road (State Road 688).
Admission: $8 adults, $4 children 6-12, children under 6 free, pits $15, parking free.
Notes: At the end of racing tonight, anyone holding a 48-point lead in his class _ except for Figure 8s _ can claimi the season championship. That's because the maximum number of points that can be earned in the last regular-season races next week is 47. For Figure 8s, the magic number is 43. Unless disaster befalls him tonight, No. 19 Open Wheel Modified driver Tommy Schnader is virtually assured of joining No. 7 Late Model driver Dwayne Dempsey and Oval Drag racer Frank Hill as a class champion. Schnader holds a 63 point lead over No. 4 Jim Keelin. Drivers in three other classes also could clinch titles tonight. No. 1 Mini Stock driver Kenny Moore leads No. 22 Macky Mongold by 50 points. In Figure 8s, No. 31 Jimmy Thompson must finish at least two spots ahead of No. 12 Red Vann. No. 8 Street Stock driver Gary Templeton would have to beat No. 20 Steve O'Lone and gain at least seven points. No. 45 Sportsman driver John Wachtel leads No. 74 Rick Marquis by 37 points but, because of the limited number of cars in that class, it's unlikely he will be able to claim the championship until the final night. The points standings are worth cash to others not at the top, so the competition should be intense in both heat and feature races tonight and next week.
