BELMONTE, EDNA, 85, of Inverness, died Saturday (Oct. 22, 1994). She was born in New York state and was a retired switchboard operator. She was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church. There are no immediate survivors. Charles E. Davis Funeral Home, Inverness.

DYER, SANDRA K., 52, of Nobleton, died Thursday (Oct. 20, 1994) at home. She came here 23 years ago from her native Clearwater and managed Palmer Tire and Auto, Homosassa. She was a member of Istachatta Church of Christ. Survivors include two daughters, Connie Dyer, Tampa, and Michele Howard, Homosassa; and one granddaughter. Merritt Funeral Home, Brooksville.

ELLSWORTH, CHESTER ACIE, 83, of Liberty, Ky., formerly of Floral City, died Wednesday (Oct. 19, 1994). He was born in Momence, Ill., and was a retired truck driver. Survivors include five sons, Marlind, Mansfield, Ky., James, Canton, Ohio, Danny, Gainesville, and Jerry and Edward, both of Liberty; four daughters, Vivian Hochstrasser, Fort Gaines, Ga., Shirley Tedder, Indianapolis, and Charla Burciage, Tupelo, Miss.; a brother, Lee, Liberty; 25 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and a companion, Lora Powell. GUBBINS, JOSEPH F., 80, of Beverly Hills, died Thursday (Oct. 20, 1994) at Citrus Memorial Hospital, Inverness. Born in Long Island, N.Y., he came here 10 years ago from Flushing, N.Y. He was a member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church and a life member of Queensboro Elks Lodge 878, Elmhurst, N.Y. Survivors include his wife, Grace; a son, Robert, Ringwood, N.J.; a daughter, Marilyn Gubbins, Long Island; two brothers, Patrick and Thomas, both of Long Island; three sisters, Alice Long, Long Island, Anna Collins, Fredericksburg, Va., and Mary Darcy, Mariposa, Calif.; nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. QUINLAN, RUTH ISABEL McMAHON, 75, of Homosassa, died Thursday (Oct. 20, 1994). Born in Chicago, she came here 15 years ago from Oak Park, Ill. She was a retired legal stenographer and a member of First Baptist Church, Homosassa Springs. Survivors include a nephew and two nieces. Hooper Funeral Homes, Inverness.
