HILLSBOROUGH OBITUARIES

DIAZ, OGDELIA, 67, of Tampa, died Saturday (Oct. 22, 1994) at home under the care of Hospice of Hillsborough County. She was a lifelong resident here. She was retired after 35 years as a bookkeeper for Woolworth department store. She was a Catholic. Survivors include her husband, Charles Diaz; a son, Charles A., Fairfax, Va.; her mother, Adelaida Polo, Tampa; three brothers, E. Raymond Polo Sr., Jacksonville, Lionel Polo, Tampa, and Jerry Polo, Phoenix; and three grandchildren. Garden of Memories-Myrtle Hill Funeral Home.

FLORES, MARY LUISA, 84, of Tampa, died Friday (Oct. 21, 1994) in Tampa. She was a lifelong resident here. She was a machine operator at a cigar manufacturing company. Survivors include her son, Elroy, Tampa; a brother, Robert Vergara, Texas; two sisters, Aida Chamoun, Baton Rouge, La.; Amelia Decos, Tampa; two grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. PARRY, JOHN F., 76, of Tampa, died Sunday (Oct. 23, 1994) at Memorial Hospital, Tampa. He was born in Pittston and moved here 12 years ago. He was a warehouseman in the food industry and an Army Air Forces veteran of World War II. He was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church. Survivors include his wife, Miriam; two sons, John F. and James, both of Tampa; a daughter, Margaret Pinelli, Tampa; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. RIVERA, MARIA M., 90, of Tampa, died Friday (Oct. 21, 1994) in Tampa. She was born in Puerto Rico and moved here from New York 15 years ago. She was a homemaker and a protestant. Survivors include her three sons, Ramon Rivera, and Marcial Castro, both of Tampa, and Victor Castro, New York; four daughters, Jackie Diaz, Petra Carrasquillo, and Aixa Calo, all of Tampa, and Ovidia Luna, New York; several grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren. TUSLER, JAMES E., 84, of Land O'Lakes, died Friday (Oct. 21, 1994) in Tampa. He was born in Alexandria Bay, N.Y., and moved to Land O'Lakes in 1969. He was a millwright for a cereal manufacturer. He was an Army Air Forces veteran of World War II and a Protestant. Survivors include his wife, Anna; a son, Eric, Temecula, Calif.; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. F.T. McMANUS, ROSEMARY A., 66, of Valrico, died Sunday (Oct. 23, 1994) at home. She was born in Cleveland and moved to this area 15 years ago. She was homemaker and a member of Church of the Nativity. Survivors include her two daughters, Maureen M. Tavrell, Valrico, Patricia A. Crump, Brandon; two sisters, Patricia Hardin and Gerry Fisher, both of Cleveland; and a grandchild.
