Michael Marino, director of food and nutrition services at Seven Rivers Community Hospital in Crystal River, was a winner in the 1994 Pork Recipe Contest sponsored by the National Pork Producers Council. Marino won second prize in the non-commercial division for his recipe, pork loin asiago.

Karen Morton, a Realtor-associate with Century 21 J.W. Morton Real Estate, has been recognized as one of the top 21 Century 21 sales associates by Century 21 of the Southeast.

Steve and Diana Kingree, owners of D&S Kustom Construction in Crystal River, attended the 1994 Remodelers Show on Oct. 7-9 in Atlanta. During the weekend, the Kingrees attended more than 20 seminars sponsored by the National Association of Home Builders. D&S Kustom Construction recently relocated to 155 SE U.S. 19, Suite C.


INVERNESS _ The Citrus County Chamber of Commerce will have its annual Christmas parade at noon Dec. 10. This year's theme is "Memories of Families' Christmas." The parade will go from Citrus High School east on Main Street to courthouse square and S Apopka Avenue. Plaques will be awarded in the following categories: best commercial entry, best non-commercial entry, best school entry, best religious entry, best band, best marching unit, best drill team, best horse and rider, and Judges Choice award. CRYSTAL RIVER _ The communications division of DeVane Electric is an authorized representative of Sprint long distance services through the Sprint Partners Program. DeVane Electric, founded by Don DeVane in 1967, provides commercial and residential electrical service. The business was acquired by Floyd Daniel and Michael Brown last year and has evolved into a diverse electrical contracting company, offering telecommunications, satellite antenna systems and whole house audio systems.
