Leaders maintain their dominance with end in sight

Division leaders didn't slack off a bit Saturday night at Citrus County Speedway, despite nearing the end of the points season.

Brooksville's Lee Blevins, who has already locked up the Late Model points championship, picked up another feature victory, Inverness' Herb Neumann Jr. did the same in Sportsman and Brooksville's Victor Stanley came from the middle of the pack to win the Figure 8 feature for the fifth time this season.

In the Street Stock Division, Bomber points champion Mike Veltman of Crystal River turned his second run of the season into his first feature victory. In Mini Stocks, Brooksville's Shane Sine took advantage of a traffic jam created when leader Bob Eldridge of Inverness ran into trouble in the final five laps. In the twin Bomber features, Inverness' James Cannon became the 19th different driver to win this season, while Floral City's Kathy Ray got her second win.

All divisions will be in action on Saturday for the final time in the 1994 points season.
