Two women charged with attempted murder

Two women were arrested early Monday after two men were stabbed Sunday during a fight in a High Point neighborhood.

Konnie Koonce, 23, of 15514 Alma Ave., and Annette Burch, 24, of 15133 Windtree Drive, were charged with attempted murder. They were being held at the Pinellas County Jail without bail.

Pinellas sheriff's Sgt. Greg Tita identified the stabbing victims as Lamonte Foster, 20, and Michael J. Tatum, 35, both of 5357 Bamboo Place. They were taken to Bayfront Medical Center in St. Petersburg, where Foster was listed in good condition. Tatum was treated and released.

The men were stabbed with a knife about 1 a.m. Sunday when a crowd gathered on Alma Avenue, and a fight broke out. Tita said the cause of the fight was unknown.
