Up to now, 36-year-old Billy Myers has enjoyed freshwater fishing and working in his yard. Today the Pinellas Park man stands to enjoy a lot more.
Myers is one of seven people who will gather at the Greater Jacksonville Fair to see if they've won the 27th Instant Game Million Dollar Grand Prize Drawing.
Myers, a student at Pinellas Technical Institute in Clearwater, said he bought his lucky Millionaire Madness ticket at Wolf's Newsstand at 7620 49th St. N in Pinellas Park.
"I'd like to buy a house and support my mother for the rest of her life," he told lottery officials.
Other finalists include Tampa resident Rita Roehsner and residents of Gainesville, Miami, Daytona Beach, Riviera Beach and Sanford. Those who don't win the $1-million drawing will receive cash prizes ranging from $10,000 to $50,000.
