STATOM AT GRAND CENTRAL _ Glass artist Therman Statom will be on hand for an opening reception of his work from 7 to 9 tonight at Grand Central Gallery. Statom, recipient of two NEA grants, uses plate glass to fabricate familiar objects. The event is along the route of Tampa's first Fourth Friday, a monthly gallery open house (see related story, this section). The show continues through Nov. 26 during hours 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday; 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday; 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday. Free. ART ON THE GRILLE _ The Heritage Grille, noted since its opening for offering good art as well as good food, resumes its show schedule with a reception, 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, free (cash bar). Arranged by Evelyn Cobb Galleries, it features works by Marge Andruk, John Brown, Edna Hibel and Mary Klein. Regular hours are 7-10:30 a.m., 11:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. and 5:30-10 p.m. Monday-Friday, and 5:30-11 p.m. Saturday. The show closes Jan. 13.
