Jury at work in Crane murder trial

Jurors today began deliberating the case of a man charged with murdering Hogan's Heroes star Bob Crane in 1978. John Henry Carpenter, the actor's sidekick, is accused of bludgeoning him to death in anger that the friendship was about to end.

George Jones, Clint Black, the Neville Brothers featuring Aaron Neville, and Alabama are among the acts headlining the 1995 Florida State Fair, which is set for Feb. 3-19 at the Florida Expo Park. Also playing are John Berry, Diamond Rio, and Lorrie Morgan. Tickets go on sale Monday. Tickets for all shows are $10 except for Black (Feb. 7, $19.50), Lorrie Morgan (Feb. 15, $17.50), and the festival-closing Alabama (Feb. 19, $22.50). Tickets are available at all Ticketmaster locations or at the Florida Expo Park Box Office. All advance entertainment tickets include gate admission. For information, call the Expo Park at 621-7821. Also at the Expo Park, Little Texas and Tim McGraw are set for Nov. 29 with Blackhawk, featuring former Outlaw and Tampa resident Henry Paul as a special guest.
