Russell James Seedner, 36, of Oldsmar, died Thursday at Bayfront Medical Center in St. Petersburg. Mr. Seedner, of 107 W Arlington St., was hospitalized last month with injuries suffered in a head-on collision in Oldsmar. His wife, Holly Lynn Seedner, 31, died shortly after the Sept. 26 accident at Mease Hospital Countryside in Safety Harbor.

The other driver, Charles B. Hamilton, 32, of 30 Geoffrey Court in Oldsmar, has been discharged from Bayfront Medical Center.

The collision happened about 1:30 a.m. on Tampa Road near W Sandpiper Court. Mrs. Seedner was driving east in a 1988 Dodge. Hamilton was westbound in a 1986 Ford.

The Florida Highway Patrol said Mrs. Seedner crossed the center of the road and drove into the path of the Ford.

Mr. Seedner worked as a carrier for the St. Petersburg Times. Rick Ryan, his supervisor, said the Seedners were on their way to Tarpon Springs to pick up newspapers at the time of the accident.

No charges were filed in the accident. The Seedners are survived by a 10-year-old son, Russell J. Jr.

Sylvan Abbey Memorial Park in Clearwater is handling the arrangements. A graveside memorial service is planned at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at Sylvan Abbey Memorial Park at 2909 Union St.
