Notes: It's the final night of the points season and championships in three classes will be decided. The most interesting battle will be in Open Wheel Modifieds. No. 19 Tommy Schnader's gigantic lead over No. 4 Jim Keelin dropped to only 23 points after he blew his engine in the heat race last week. The big question is how well Schnader's rebuilt or replacement engine will hold up. All No. 45 John Wachtel needs to do to win the Sportsman championship is start the feature. No. 1 Kenny Moore must run reasonably well to beat No. 22 Macky Mongold for the Mini Stock championship. Season championships already have been decided in four classes: No. 7 Dwayne Dempsey in Late Models, No. 31 Jimmy Thompson in Figure 8s, No. 8 Gary Templeton in Street Stocks, and Frank Hill in Oval Drags. Kids in costume will be able to trick-or-treat with drivers starting at 6 p.m. and ending before 7. _ BOB BOYLE
