AIRPORT INVESTIGATION: Engineers who examined walls and pillars at the problem-plagued Denver International Airport disputed claims of shoddy construction at the facility. The engineers were hired by the city to investigate claims of a former inspector on the airport project who said he saw workers cut corners that could lead to public safety hazards. The new study says it finds no evidence to back the inspector's allegations.
