Temple Terrace cruised to the District 13 Presidents Cup Majors championship with a 10-0 win over East Point Wednesday.
Temple Terrace came off a 6-2 loss to East Point Tuesday to win the deciding game in the double-elimination tournament. The Indians rode the arm of pitcher Ben Presley in the title-clincher. Presley tossed a complete-game shutout, finishing up a streak of 17 scoreless innings in the tournament.
Three runs crossed in the opening inning. Ricky Cias, Ron Aprile and Kyle Watson put the Indians off to a good start by starting the game with hits. A seven-run fifth broke the game open, sending Temple Terrace to the district crown.
