Notes: Open-wheeled, Winged Outlaw Sprints are back for their third of five runs at Sunshine this year. Overall points, which are for both dirt and pavement, are close between No. 2 Red Stauffer and No. 41 Joe Melnick. Pavement points are even more interesting, with seven drivers separated by only 56 points. In the two previous races at Sunshine this year, No. 22 Stan Butler won the first and Wayne Hammond won the second. Last year, No. 68 Jim Childers won all three at Sunshine. No. 66 David Steele leads in pavement points, and others to watch include No. 80 Eddie Kelley, No. 43 John Rosploch, No. 99T Larry Tyler, No. 88R Due Teate, and No. 77 Paul Madden. Late Models have the night off, but all other classes will be running. There has been a rules change for Fan Participation races. A helmet, seatbelts and a metal roof are still required, but drivers now must bring a clear title to their cars. _ BOB BOYLE
