GITAITIS, MICHAEL A., 81, formerly of Spring Hill, died Thursday (June 22, 1995) at Milford Memorial Hospital, Milford, Del. He was a retired construction supervisor for Local 626, and a member of the Lithuanian Club, Delaware Club and Spring Hill Civic Association. Survivors include his wife, Nada; two sons, Michael, Middletown, Del., and Ronald, Georgia; two sisters, Milly Hartley and Helen Malanga, both of Belleview; and five grandchildren. MENDEL, HETTIE MARIE, 86, of Hernando, died Friday (June 23, 1995). Born in East Enterprise, Ind., she came here one year ago from Harrison, Ohio, and was a retired cashier for Kroger Grocery. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Mooresville, Ind. Survivors include three sons, Charles, Hernando, Dale, Harrison, and Paul, Cincinnati; 14 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren. Hooper Funeral Homes, Inverness.

MORAN, EVELYN, 73, of Spring Hill, died Friday (June 23, 1995) at home. Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., she came here five years ago from Rockland County, N.Y. She was a member of St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church. Survivors include her husband, William; a son, William Jr., Spring Hill; three daughters, Marlene Clese, Tallman, N.Y., Evelyn Moran, Spring Hill, and Patricia McAloney, Middletown, N.Y.; two brothers, Charles and Gerard Norelius, both of Brooklyn; four sisters, Helen Squires, Agnes Herbst, Eleanor Rayll and Dorothy Reilly, all of Brooklyn; five grandsons; and one great-granddaughter. SPENTHOFF, LENORE MARGARET, 80, of Inverness, died Thursday (June 22, 1995) at home. She came here 12 years ago from her native Toledo, Ohio. She was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church. Survivors include her husband, Vincent B.; three daughters, Vivian Spenthoff and Judy Bottles, both of Englewood, and Jean Sohnly, Jacksonville; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. TOMBLIN, ERCELL, 69, of Inverness, died Thursday (June 22, 1995) at Citrus Memorial Hospital. Born in Harts, W.Va., he came here 15 years ago from Castalia, Ohio, and was a retired machine shop operator and an Army veteran. He was a Protestant. Survivors include his wife, Esther A.; two sons, Clifton, Wayne, Mich., and Billy, Harts; a brother, Leonard, Lavalette, W.Va.; a sister, Hazel Farley, Harts; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. WINCHEK, WALTER V., 71, of Spring Hill, died Friday (June 23, 1995). Born in Oswego, N.Y., he came here 15 years ago from Wyandotte, Mich., and was a retired engineer and erector for Boilermakers 169, Detroit, and an Army veteran of World War II. He was a member of St. Theresa Catholic Church and the Spring Hill Garden Club. Survivors include his wife, Helen; three sons, Walter Jr., Friendswood, Texas, Joseph, Wyandotte, and the Rev. Andrew, Asia; a daughter, Sharon Ann Zempel, Lake Orion, Mich.; a brother, Frank, Oswego; two sisters, Rose Ottman, Schenectady, N.Y., and Dorothy Hanson, Spring Hill; 11 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
