ALLEN, ELSIE K., 89, of Tampa, died Saturday (June 24, 1995) in Plant City. She was born in Principio, Md., and came to Tampa in 1952 from Perry Point, Md. She was a homemaker and a Methodist. Survivors include her son, Charles T. of Brandon; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. F. T. Blount Co. Funeral Home, Tampa.

FISHER, ARTHUR W. JR., 78, of Tampa, died Saturday (June 24, 1995) in Tampa. He was a lifelong resident of Tampa and was a retired colonel of the Marine Corps. He was a member of the Sons of the American Revolution, the Sons of the Confederacy and the Pearl Harbor Survivors Association. He was a Protestant. Survivors include two sons, Arthur III and Joseph, both of Lutz; a daughter, Mary Lou Faraco, Saratoga, Calif.; a brother, Ralph, Tampa; four grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. GAETANI, ANTHONY J. "A. J.," 79, of Tampa, died Sunday (June 25, 1995) in Tampa. He was born in New Orleans and came here in 1921. He was a retired engineer for a commercial railroad. He was a Catholic and a member of the Jesuit High School Hall of Fame, the Masonic Lodge 240 F&AM, the Scottish Rite and the Egypt Temple Shrine. Survivors include his wife, Isabel, and a daughter, Angel Newkoop of Tampa. Roel & Curry Funeral Home, Tampa.

GROSSMAN, LAWRANCE "LARRY" K., 42, of Tampa, died Saturday (June 24, 1995) at home. He was born in Meriden, Conn., and came to Tampa in 1965. He was the past research director at the Committee of 100 in Tampa. He was Jewish. Survivors include his daughter, Kelli Lee Cooksey, Denton, Texas; his father, Jack, Tampa; and a brother, Avram, Tampa. Beth David Funeral Chapel, Tampa.

GUTHRIE, LYLE R., 68, of Valrico, died Saturday (June 24, 1995) in Brandon. He was born in Lyons, Mich., and came to the area in 1969. He was a member of the Mango Church of God. Survivors include two sons, Carlyle, Valrico, and Gregory, Tampa; a daughter, Connie J. Guthrie, Valrico; five brothers, Roy, Homer, Clare, Arthur and Duane, all of Michigan; three sisters, Vera Ergang and Catherine Wood, both of Michigan, and Betty Guthrie of Mexico; and four grandchildren. LAUGHNER, VERA D., 85, of Tampa, died Saturday (June 24, 1995) in Tampa. She was born in Franklin, Pa., and came here in 1993 from Deerfield Beach. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star Nursery, Chapter 25 in Franklin, and of Coasterettes Deerfield Shrine. She attended Lake Magdalene United Methodist Church. Survivors include her husband, John; a son, John, Jr., Dubois, Pa.; a daughter, Jill L. Sickles, Tampa; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. F. T. Blount Co. Funeral Home, Tampa.

NABORS, HERBERT A., 77, of Tampa, died Friday (June 23, 1995) in Tampa. He was born in Union, S.C. He was a retired station manager for a commercial airline and a member of the Lions Club and the Kiwanis Club. He was a member of Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church. Survivors include his wife, Grace R., Wayne, Pa.; a daughter, Linda Flogaus, Wayne; two brothers, Frank W., Union, S.C., and L. Paul, Ashland City, Tenn.; and two grandsons. A. P. PALMER, ANA EMILIA, 69, of Tampa, died Friday (June 23, 1995) in Tampa. She was born in Santiago, Cuba, and came to the area in 1983 from New Jersey. She was a retired clothing industry machine operator and a member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church. Survivors include her three brothers, John, Jorge and Julian Abdala, all of Tampa. A. P. REYES, CARIDAD, 71, of Tampa, died Saturday (June 24, 1995) in Tampa. She was born in Tampa and lived here all her life. She was a homemaker and a Catholic. Survivors include her husband, Manuel C.; two sons, Manuel, Jr., Tampa, and Louis M., St. Petersburg; a daughter, Helen Burris, Tampa; a brother, Herman Fernandez, Tampa; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. SANCHEZ, ANGELINA ROSARIO, 69, of Tampa, died Friday, (June 23, 1995) in Tampa. She was born in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico, and came here five years ago. She was a homemaker and a member of Church of God. Survivors include three sons, Carmelo Jr., Jose, and Samuel Class, all of Tampa; eight daughters, Carmen Garcia, Elizabeth LaFond, Nereida Class and Judy Class, all of New York City, Normi Class, Milagros de Jesus, Rosa Chong, and Aida Class, all of Tampa; 28 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
