Speedway races are a washout

Rain forced cancellation of racing Saturday night at the Citrus County Speedway and at Sunshine Speedway in Pinellas County.

It was the second time this season weather has interrupted the Citrus Speedway schedule. The Citrus 95/JB Country Demolition Derby has been rescheduled for July 15.

A full program, including a special 50-lap Late Model feature, will be run Saturday at the Citrus track. The program at Sunshine Speedway will include a Figure 8 Championship race.
