Newspaper recycling drive begins

Individuals, businesses and organizations are being asked to participate in a summer newspaper recycling drive begun by Keep Pinellas County Beautiful and Kimmins Recycling Corp. to help educate young people on the importance of recycling, and to raise funds for participating groups and for the non-profit Keep Pinellas County Beautiful. The drive is part of the first in a planned annual Cleanup and Greenup program. Newspaper collection containers have been set up at Deaf Service Centers at 7190 76th St. N and 7545 83rd St. N, both in Pinellas Park; Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2550, 360 Douglas Ave., Dunedin; YMCA of North Pinellas, 4550 Village Center Drive, East Lake; Cops 'N Kids Center, 555 Harrison St., Tarpon Springs; Sunset Hills Elementary School, 1513 Gulf Road, Tarpon Springs; Craig Park, 102 S Spring Blvd., Tarpon Springs; and Tarpon Springs Boys and Girls Club, 111 W Lime St., Tarpon Springs.
