The arbitration hearing for Lightning goalie Daren Puppa has been rescheduled for Thursday in Tampa.
Each side will submit a salary figure, and the arbitrator can pick either figure or a number somewhere between them. The arbitrator will be determining Puppa's salary for last season.
To maintain the rights to match any offer Puppa might get for next season, the Lightning must offer him a salary equal to or more than the arbitrator's ruling.
Two weeks ago Florida Panthers goalie John Vanbiesbrouck, 31, whose statistics are comparable to those of Puppa, 30, was awarded $1.9-million in an arbitration hearing.
