Charles M. Schulz, 72, creator of the Peanuts comic strip, says he still draws the strip himself, will never let anyone else draw it and that Peanuts will die when he does.
Schulz says his children agree with his plans. "They said, "We don't want anyone else drawing Dad's strip.' "
In an interview in the June issue of New Choices for Retirement Living magazine, Schulz said he disagrees with those who believe his drawing isn't as good as it used to be.
"I think that if a person maintains decent health and can handle the grind, then this is one of those professions where you should get better all the time," he said.
