VFW Post 6180, auxiliary to install officers

New officers of the Donald M. Michels Jr. Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 6180 and its Auxiliary will be installed during ceremonies at 7:30 p.m. today at the post.

Clifford Rose will serve as commander for the coming year.

Other officers are Thomas Barnhill, senior vice commander; Neal King, junior vice commander; Willard Aaron, adjutant; William Summerfield, quartermaster; Kenneth Clark, judge advocate; James Kerr, surgeon; John Stephens, chaplain; and E. L. Summerfield, Fra Mehoughin and William Kaempf, trustees.

Carola "Vicki" Bickford will serve as president of the Auxiliary for 1995-96.

Sue Gleeson is senior vice president; Shiela Byers, junior vice president; Dorothie Nichols, treasurer; Hazel Scarborough, guard; Maggie Gainor, conductress; and Marion Thompson, Helen Lake and Marion Whitmore, trustees.

E. L. Summerfield of New Port Richey and Kathie Roman of Palm Harbor will be the installing officers.

The Auxiliary meets at 7:30 p.m. the second Tuesday of the month and the post meets at 8 p.m. the second Wednesday of the month at the post home.

Sue Gleeson has been elected senior vice president of District 21 and Vicki Bickford will serve as district conductress. William Summerfield, past commander, was elected district surgeon.
