Midnight Run will disrupt traffic on and below Dunedin Causeway

The Dunedin Causeway will be closed to highway traffic and its drawbridge won't be raised for boat traffic late Monday and early Tuesday during the 16th annual Kiwanis Club-Mease Hospital Midnight Run on the causeway. Enrique Mazas, a senior engineer in the Pinellas County Highway Department, said the closings will be from 11:30 p.m. Monday to 1:30 a.m. Tuesday for the charity fund-raising event, which will feature a 3-kilometer run and a 10-kilometer run along the causeway, starting at the Causeway Plaza at Alt. U.S. 19. The runs are sponsored by the Kiwanis Clubs in Dunedin and Countryside and by Mease Hospital Dunedin.
