Book sale includes videos

The Friends of the Hugh Embry Library in Dade City announce that the Thursday book sale now includes movie videos. The movies are being sold in addition to puzzles, encyclopedias, magazines and books of all kinds. Very old books often are available. Items are priced from 15 cents up.

Friends volunteer Tom Aungst invites everyone to drop by from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. each Thursday in Room 203 of the old courthouse on the center square in downtown Dade City.

The book sale is set in a library atmosphere. There are tables and chairs, it is air-conditioned, and it can be reached by elevator.

The Friends' next meeting is at 5:45 p.m. July 11 at Hugh Embry Library. Everyone is welcome.

Officers for the new year are Jo Kassabaum, president; Pat Lawhead, first vice president; Dan Withers, second vice president; Glen Thompson, treasurer; and Gordon Nereim, secretary. Board members include Aungst, Larry Douglas, George Heller, Lorraine McCabe and Ann Becker.
