New officers of the American Legion Paradise Post 79 and the Auxiliary and Sons of the American Legion recently were installed at a dinner at the post in New Port Richey.
Edward White will lead activities of the post as commander in the coming year.
Other officers include: Irene Stelsing, first vice commander; Wayne Albert, second vice commander; Gene Murphy, adjutant; Mike Korman, finance officer; Ken Mitchell, chaplain; Bobby Burris, sergeant-at-arms; Bertha Barwikowski, historian; Jack Kennedy, judge advocate; Fred Harrop, service officer; and Vinney Roberts, John Herig and James Smith, executive committee members.
Ginger DiLello will serve as president of the Auxiliary. She will be assisted by Anna Bonny, first vice president; Alice Ott, second vice president; Minnie Bousquet, chaplain; Sheri Gordon, treasurer; Mary LaConte, historian; Marsha White, secretary; Dorothy Eklund, sergeant-at-arms; Sue Spader, assistant sergeant-at-arms; and Kay Ciancia, Shirley Peterson and Iola Stiegler, executive committee members.
Mark Harris is the new commander of the Sons of the American Legion; Larry Kelly Sr., second vice commander; John Merten, adjutant; Herman Cowan, chaplain; Larry Kelly Jr., historian; Joey Merten, sergeant-at-arms; and John Merten, finance officer.
